According to wikipedia the 2009 horse power is no different from the 2008 which is no different from 2007! So with that the 2009 Horse Power is rated at 118hp or 88kw at 13,500rpm. The difference between the 2009 model and the previous models is weight. Given the same engine Honda was able to lower the weight of the 2009 CBR600RR to 410lbs wet and if you get abs then you’re at 432lbs according to the Honda website. This gives the power to weight ratio at .2878. Which when you compare it to the Kawasaki Ninja ZZR600 is still not as good.
